Joonbug Graphic Design is a family owned business based in Hoodsport, Washington. Michelle and Noble offer full graphic design services for print and web.
We work remotely and in person with clients to offer our services throughout Washington State and beyond.

Michelle Pugh
Owner/Graphic & Web Designer
Michelle Pugh, Owner, Senior Graphic Designer and Digital Art Teacher, established Joonbug Graphic Design in 2006. She graduated from The Art Institute of Seattle in 1998 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications. Michelle worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission from 2001 through 2017. A few of her favorite highlights from working for Parks were leading the Parks design team on the City of Olympia Salmon Public Art Sculpture, designing the Discover Pass and the State Parks Special License Plate.
Her professional experience also stems from working with tribal organizations, newspapers, marketing firms, non-profits and government agencies and creative individuals for over 28 years.
She is an expert user and teacher in the Adobe Creative Suite programs (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.), ProCreate, and Squarespace. Michelle also enjoys using hands on artist tools as an illustrator, painter and beader. She teaches others how to tap into their own creative stories and talents while extending her knowledge in digital art programs and processes. One of her favorite parts of designing a website is teaching others how to maintain the site after the site goes live!
Michelle also has a passion for sharing holistic healing practices including herbalism, sound healing, and yoga since 2009 via her wellness business, Joonbug Yoga.
Her love for family, nature, art, health and wellness inspires her design work and healthy relationships with diverse communities. Michelle and her husband love to ski, mountain bike, paddle and gather wild edibles year round and they love to see Noble share his creative talents through music and design. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Whether Michelle is designing a website, teaching digital art or yoga, Michelle leads with love and enjoys seeing others shine!

Noble Pugh
Freelance Graphic Designer
Noble Pugh, Michelle’s son, is a talented freelance graphic designer, illustrator and artist who has been working for Joonbug Graphic Design since 2020. Noble brings a fresh creative perspective, attention to detail and authenticity to design projects!
His strengths include writing, promotion, editing, graphic designing with a love for music has been an inspiration to our creative team for the past 5 years. Whether it is a digital art, photography, website design, branding, social media, video or event promotion project, Noble adds creative touches and professionalism each time!
He has worked on design projects using the Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Light Room, Premier Pro, Acrobat, etc.) and is proficient using Canva, Microsoft 365, and ProCreate on both Macintosh and PC platforms.
Noble also works full time as a Marketing Assistant sharing his skills in graphic design, writing, video and social media for a Physical Therapy company.
