Joonbug Graphic Design is a family owned business based in Hoodsport, Washington. Michelle and Noble offer full graphic design services for print and web. We work remotely and in person with clients to offer our services throughout Washington State and beyond. Contact us for your next design project consultation!

MICHELLE PUGH

Michelle Pugh, Owner, Senior Graphic Designer and Digital Art Teacher, established Joonbug Graphic Design in 2006. She graduated from The Art Institute of Seattle in 1998 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications. Michelle worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission from 2001 through 2017. Her professional experience is diverse, working for tribal organizations, newspapers, marketing firms, non-profits and government agencies for over 25 years creating designs for print and web. Michelle is an expert user in the Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.), ProCreate, and Squarespace (website design program). She also enjoys using hands on artist tools as an illustrator, painter and beader.

Michelle shares digital art classes at the Nisqually Indian Tribe and yoga classes via her yoga business, Joonbug Yoga. She designs, illustrates and teaches people of all ages how to tap into their own creative story by sharing her knowledge of how to utilize digital art programs and processes.

She enjoys spending time with her family and helping others shine! Michelle hopes that her love of nature, art, health, wellness and community inspires others to share their own authentic creativity through visual and digital art, music, movement, and plant knowledge experiences. She believes everyone is an artist!

NOBLE PUGH

Noble Pugh is a talented Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Artist who has been working for Joonbug Graphic Design since 2020. Noble brings a fresh creative perspective, attention to detail and authenticity to design projects!

Noble recently graduated from South Puget Sound Community College with his Associate of Arts in Communications Degree with focus on Graphic Design. His strength in writing, editing, designing and a love for music has been an inspiration to our creative team for the past 5 years. Whether it is a digital art, photography, website design, branding or event promotion project, Noble adds creative touches and professionalism each time!

He has worked on design projects using the Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Light Room, Premier Pro, Acrobat, etc.) and is proficient in Microsoft 365, ProCreate on both Macintosh and PC platforms.
